LED lighting issues? Icing?Output?

I am workiing with a company to address the icing issues that we have with LEDs on the airfield. We are looking at a cost effective solution rather then airport operators having to pay for heaters along with fixtures. Please comment and tell me any other issues that you have experienced with your LED conversion. We are hoping to present this solution at the Aviation Issues Conference in JAN aswell as fix any other issues...
