Designed specifically for those tasked with air operator flight security manager and ground security coordinator duties, this program provides Level I instruction specifically designed to addresses air operator needs in accordance with ICAO Annex 17  (8th Edition - April 2006), EU Doc 23/2008 and ECAC Doc 30 (12th Edition, April 2007);  US 49 CFR Sections 1542 and 1544.121 and 135, and IOSA ISM Ed 2 Rev 1 TR 1  Includes  the  latest IOSA Audit Checklists for Security, Operations and AVSEC Management.

Students are presented a combination of PowerPoint® presentations, group activities and individual hands-on practicum instruments specifically designed to familiarize them with FSM/GSC common duties and response in emergency situations. In addition to the classroom materials, students receive individual checklist packets designed to assist in proper response while on the job.

Developed as intensive hands on learning experience, participant's learn-by-doing in a 'real world' environment.  Presented as a combination of lecture, small group interaction and actual field practicum exercises, students acquire both the academic knowledge and technical competence needed to properly conduct their duties as FSM or GSC officers.

Each student receives an interactive CD ROM containing customizable checklists, reference library and interactive forms useful during in daily operations. Students completing the program with a score of 79% or more receive a Certificate of Successful Completion.
