To all:

I'd like to get a collection together of Airport Operations vehicles from around the country. I need pictures of YOUR ops vehicle whether you work on Cape Cod Massachusetts , Honolulu Hawaii, or anywhere in between.

I'm trying to come up with a new paint scheme for a new operations vehicle that will be coming and need your ideas!

Feel free to email me pictures at tim.burke@co.pitkin.co.us or post them here on the site!

Thanks for your help.

KDEN chiming in.  We just had all of our vehicles photographed by our Public Relations folks last week.  OPS, Cops and Fire Chiefs ride in Tahoes.  ARFF/structure has a compliment of E-One, Oshkosh Striker, Pierce, Seagrave rigs and a couple of Hummers for operations in our bag tunnels.  Paramedics ride in Suburbans.  Denver Police also have Chevy Silverados for their K-9 units.  Our 2 friction testers are Dynatest on GMC 2500 trucks.  We have two AccessAir stair trucks and one ADA lift.

On a couple of our vehicles, we have amber and one green. The green light was originally used to signify the location of the Incident Command Post. That has since changed though.
At my last airport we used amber and red lights. Amber only was used for general driving around. Amber and red were used when responding to an emergency. The idea was if someone didn't hear the emergency call they would know something is up when the red lights were on.
I added my vehicle to my profile photo collection. One thing I was wondering is this: Has anyone used a different light combination than the Amber/White bar lights? I know on our vehicle I put in Amber/Green to avoid blinding pilots at night or in low visibility, but has anyone else used different light colors in their light bars?
