About Me

I retired from the FAA's Office of Airport Safety & Operations Office, as the Team Lead on 1/2/2015. I was with the FAA for 26 years, the first 16 years with the previous Office of Civil Aviation Security (where TSA was stood up from) and the last 10 with the FAAs Office of Airports.  I was an Inspector in both organizations, a supervisor, manager. and was also a Federal Air Marshal for four years.  I spent 18 months with the TSA as the first Assistant Director of General Aviaiton Operations, prior to my return to the FAA in 2004.  I was an active speaker in the AAAE/ASOS schools for most of my 26 years with the FAA.  I particpated in multiple ACRP projects as the FAA Liaison during the past ten years.  I participated in multiple NTSB/FAA aircraft accident investigations on behlaf of the FAA.  I am a private pilot with both land and sea ratings, been an aircraft owner/seller and skydiver in my early days....
